SILVER JUBILEE CLOSING CELEBRATION
Description
As an epilogue, marking the culmination of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of St. Karen's Secondary School, a global and multi cultural extravaganza "ALISA AND THE MAGIC ATLAS" was staged on 28th January 2017. The dignitaries to grace the occasion included Dr. Manish Kumar, (lAS, Additional Secretary, Education Department Gov. Of Bihar) as the chief guest and Mr. Himanshu Shankar Trivedi, (IPS) and Mr. Ram Sagar Singh, (D.P.O. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan), as the guest of honour. Along with them the entire management of the school was a part of this august gathering. The program included the presentation of the famous Shakespearean drama 'Julius Caesar' which enthralled the audience. The lead roles were played by Ayush Anand (Julius Caesar), Anurag (Mark Antony), Harsh {Marcus Brutus}, Ayesha (Calpurnia) and others. The dance performances included the various dance forms from across the globe like Chinese (Fan and Dragon), Korean, African, Russian Hawaiian, Salsa, to mention just a few. Not only the dance forms and moves, but also the dress and music teleported the audience to those exotic places of which the dance forms were being performed. It was the first time that such a performance was staged by a school in Bihar. The extravaganza ended with a grand finale in which more than 500 students shared the stage together.
