Description:
To mark the significance of the upcoming festival of Raksha Bandhan, a group of students from Classes 10 and 11 visited Tarumitra Bio Reserve for an eco-friendly raksha bandhan celebration.
As part of the initiative, students tied rakhis to trees — symbolizing a promise to protect nature, just as a sibling promises to protect one another. This unique gesture highlighted the bond between humans and the environment.
The visit concluded with a walk through the reserve, where students observed diverse flora and fauna, and were encouraged to say no to single-use plastic.
This celebration beautifully blended cultural tradition with environmental awareness, making it a memorable and meaningful learning experience.
