Today at SKSS, we celebrated the Feast day of Saint Catherine with enthusiasm and creativity. The day kicked off with a vibrant morning assembly, setting the tone for a series of engaging activities. Among them was a delightful fancy dress competition, where students embodied the spirit of Saint Catherine with their imaginative costumes.
In addition to the competition, various other activities enriched the celebration. For students in grades 1-2, there was "My Mini Saint Statue & Lily Flower Bouquet" crafting, fostering hands-on creativity. Grades 3 to 5 delved deeper into Saint Catherine's life through mini biographies, accompanied by crafting lily flower bouquets and crafting Happy Feast cards. Meanwhile, students in grades 6 to 8 engaged in reflective writing, exploring the profound quotations encapsulating Saint Catherine's essence, all while creating vibrant posters showcasing the seven characteristics of a Karenite.
Through these diverse activities, students not only honored the legacy of Saint Catherine but also embraced her values and teachings in a fun and interactive manner.
