Our commerce students visited Footwear Design & Development Institute under Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Bihta Campus and got a wonderful opportunity to explore career opportunities in Footwear Design & CAD, Production & Planning, Retailing and E-Commerce and Marketing & Merchandising. They explored different departments starting from designing till the retailing and witnessed variety of machines like moulding, Toe puff attaching, heat setting, roughing & scoring, heelnailing , cutting plotter machines etc and Visual merchandise Lab, Closing Lab and many different labs. It was indeed a first time experience and hands on learning to such a designing institute.
