Earth Day was celebrated at our school with the aim of raising awareness among students about the importance of environmental conservation and encouraging them to take conscious steps toward saving our planet.
The day began with a thoughtful and inspiring morning assembly conducted by the students of Class 7, setting the tone for a day dedicated to sustainability and eco-awareness.
A variety of engaging activities were organized across different grades to instill a sense of responsibility and creativity in our young learners:
Class I created beautiful and functional dustbins using waste materials, promoting the idea of reusing and recycling.
Classes II and III took part in a vibrant plantation drive, learning the value of greenery and nurturing nature.
Classes IV and V showcased their creativity through craftwork using old newspapers, giving new life to what is usually discarded.
Classes VI and VII curated a Green Art Gallery, displaying artwork centered around nature and sustainability.
Students of Classes VI to VIII also participated in an engaging Earth Day Quiz, testing their knowledge about the environment.
Senior students from Classes X and XII took part in a stimulating debate on pressing environmental issues, showcasing their critical thinking and public speaking skills.
