Admission Application Process (Registration Forms will be available through Online Only)
• Registration Open (Online) for Admission for Std. 1 & 2 for the Academic year 2025-2026 at St. Karen’s Secondary School, Khagaul Road, Patna.
• The cost of the Registration Form is Rupees 1000(Non-Refundable) for all classes.
• Forms will be available from Monday, 6th January 2025
1.Online Registration Guidelines
Online Registration Process:
Thank you for considering St. Karen’s Secondary School and we welcome you to our online application service. We hope this service will make the application process a convenient and efficient one.
IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE ONLINE APPLICATION:
1. Use your laptop/desktop and avoid using the phone to fill in the form.
2. This application form works best on Chrome.
3. Offers for admission will be made according to the admission criteria and will be subject to seat availability.
4. Application and Payment of registration fees online does not guarantee admission. (Non-Refundable)
5. Please enter the correct details in the registration form.
6. Kindly download the admit card after successful registration (as informed by the school office through SMSes) before the proficiency and Aptitude assessment/test.
2.Required document for uploading:
1. Birth Certificate from Municipal Corporation or Panchayat.
2. Proof of Residence [anyone]:
(A) Ration Card
(B) Election Id
(C) Current Landline Telephone Bill
(D) Current Electricity Bill
(E) Aadhaar Card
3. Photocopy of the school Identity Card of the sibling studying in St. Karen ’s Secondary School and photocopy of the report card of the previous class.
4. Caste Certificate if (SC, ST, OBC For statistical purpose only).
* Incomplete / illegibly written / overwritten / lack of supportive documents or certificates will lead to rejection of the Application Form.
* False documents / incorrect information found at any time, even after the admission, will debar the candidate from getting admission or admission will be cancelled (IF ADMITTED).

4.Selection Process:
1. Candidates will be required to appear in the Proficiency and Aptitude assessment on the specified date as given at the time of submission of the form.
2. Selection of the candidate will be done by a committee. Any recommendation, use of influence [direct or indirect], offer of donation etc. will lead to the cancellation of the Application form/Admission of the candidate.
3. If selected, admission must be taken within the time given for admission. Thereafter the candidate may forfeit the chance for admission.
4. Preference will be given to the candidates of the following categories who fulfils the other eligibility criteria for admission:
- Christian Candidates, Ex-Karenite’s children, siblings of students studying in St. Karen’s Secondary School and students of the neighbourhood.
5. In the course of a student’s tenure in the School or at the time of admission, should it come to light that a parent has concealed the fact that the child is suffering from any physical or mental disability or communicable and contagious disease or any serious aliment, then the School reserves the right to cancel the admission or to order the withdrawal of such a student.
6. Selection list will be displayed on school’s notice board and on the website.
- Parents/ Guardians are fully responsible to arrange transportation of their child/ward to and from school either
personally or by an authorised person.
5.Admission Process:
1. Bring all the original documents on the day of the admission or as informed by the school office.
2. It is Mandatory for both the parents to come to the school on the assigned date for the admission of their ward.
3. Admission forms to be strictly submitted by the parents only.
4.Parents are requested to keep themselves free for the time slot of admission given by school office and take 1 hour extra in hand for maintaining any kind of delay on the date of admission.
5. It is the responsibility of the parents to see that the Admission Form is complete in all respects.
6. Two recent passport size and one stamp size photo of the candidate and two passport size family photos [Father, Mother and Candidate] must be brought along with the application Form on the day of admission.
7. All documents submitted at any time will become the property of the school and will not be returned.
6.FEE INSTRUCTION:

Fees are to be paid in six installments.

1st installment will be charged at the time of admission. Payment will be accepted by way of Cash or Card Payment.

From the 2nd installments all fees thereafter for all classes shall be collected through Online (through e-Care App) or in the bank also in addition to Cash and Card (At School Fee Counter).
7.WITHDRAWAL POLICY
After the admission process and admission fee along with other fees, Annual or monthly fees are paid, an application by the Parent/Guardian is required to apply for refund if the student does not wish to pursue his/her academic studies. If it is applied for during 1st to 15 days from the date of admission, Sunday and other holidays are included then other than admission fee charged, rest of the fees can be refunded.
After 15 days if an application for refund is made then – No admission fee will be refunded & only 50% of the other fees paid – Annual / Monthly can be refunded i.e. before the commencement of the classes.
However, if the application for refund is made after the academic session has started, then no refund of any fee will be done even, if the student has not attended a single day’s class.
8.DISCLAIMER CLAUSE ON ADMISSION
Fraudsters have sought to defraud prospective parents by claiming – falsely – that they can influence the entry of a child to St. Karen’s Secondary School. All prospective parents should understand that:
1. Availing of the Application Form and registering the candidate does not guarantee admission to St. Karen’s Secondary School.
2. St. Karen’s Secondary School admissions process is strictly managed in order to be fair, transparent and in line with the values and ethos of St. Karen’s Secondary School.
3. Any attempt to subvert the admissions process must be notified to St. Karen’s Secondary School in writing or by email to contact@stkarenssecondaryschool.com immediately. This includes anyone claiming influence or requesting payment to influence the admissions process, whether or not they are associated in any way to St. Karen’s Secondary School. Any parent failing to inform St. Karen’s Secondary School of any attempt to subvert the admissions process will lead to their child being struck off of the waiting list and – in the case of a child already in school – could lead to the child/children being removed from school.
